Track Changes!
It would be amazing to see our edits and revisions. I have always loved this feature cause you can see what you've added over the course of a session.
Also it is amazing for editing or collaborative projects.

This and strikethrough are essential to use Dabble in an editing capacity. -

SerenaThis would be a fantastic feature to add once the manuscript is finally written. You can jump into a tracked edit of your novel without jumping into another programme. I like to see the changes than just make them without a record.

JenniferHonestly, this feature, with collaboration, is what is making it so difficult for me to find the 'perfect' program. :(
I want my editors to be able to go in at any time and be able to read what I've written and leave notes/edits/suggestions without actually changing the text so that I can't see and approve the changes/suggestions. -

RayneWhat Jennifer said. I've been exporting to word weekly, sending it to my editor, and then having to reimport to Dabble. Which honestly is a nightmare and takes up a huge amount of time I would rather be writing. Also it's easy to lose track of what has been edited. Any feature that would allow an editor to revise would make it infinitely easier to use Dabble for work that is going to be published. Maybe consider the ability to import track changes from word as well when you implement.

ChrsitopherWHen I'm going to do a big change I manually copy the scene(s) to new ones and label the first copy as ORIG then do the changes on the new content. This is where page/chapter/scene colors would be useful for version tracking the way screenplay software does.
Tracking changes is useful. Adding revisions and comparisons is also a great feature. -

RachelTracking changes in the documents is vital to my writing process. In Google Docs, I label each major save and often reload old saves to check up on past ideas. So far this website has proven to be quite helpful in keeping me focused and motivated. I look forward to seeing what this platform has to offer next!

CassYES! The ability to look at changes or additional information in the next drafting stage in another colour would be super helpful. This was the only feature I really enjoyed with Scrivener - especially when sending a new draft to my editor and it imported with the different colours so she was able to see what I added.

TeaganThis would be an amazing feature to have. Similar to coding, I’d like to be able to go back and look at things I’ve done, changed, and tried. This often helps me figure out what to do next.

BrookeI'm in an editing class right now and can't stop thinking about the editing/revision stage of my novel and I just know a track changes feature would be perfect. I'm debating, when I get to the revision stage, copying and pasting the entire novel into Word just to use their track changes. I don't think I can edit this novel without it. Please Dabble, I'm begging!
