Different Writing Formats - Short Story, Theatrical Play, Screenplay
I'd like to write my short stories in Dabble. Eventually, I'd love to switch my screenplays/plays from Final Draft to Dabble as well.

I like this idea and feel it wouldn't be hard to implement, although it's not on my list of priorities. Screenplays and plays mostly just have dialogue and varying levels of stage direction/scene description. Short stories probably wouldn't be much different from the current book format. Perhaps if extra formatting becomes available, a poetry template? =)
I'm doing short stories under a "Short Story" book with each chapter being a single story and it seems to be fine.
For screenplays, I could see some extra font/formatting options
I'm doing what Cory suggested, but find that doesn't give me enough flexibility since I'll often break my short stories into subsections and then scenes. I've also upvoted a feature for deeper structure and suggested a 'subchapter' level, and think that might make a short story template irrelevant.
This would be excellent. While I am starting to use this for screenplays, a dedicated template to work with would be really nice.
Hello, I write poetry and would love to write it in dabble. The format (If that is the right word) doesn’t really seem to work for it in dabble. I love Dabble either way. If there is a way to do it already please let me know,
I am also desperate for a poetry template in particular. Short stories I have been writing out as chapters and that is sufficient I suppose, but it would be nice to be able to do poetry, plays, etc. without feeling really stuck by the basic formatting. Oh! And children's books! Those are particularly difficult to write with the chapter book format but I am trying to keep all of my works to one program.

Screenplay formatting option would be fantastic!
Yes please add an option for Short Stories and Poems!
I would love to have this I am writing short stories for people who have a short attention span
I would love if you could write it in a format that is like an actual book. So you have a better idea on how it looks. That would be awesome.
Long format articles. When having to do a lot of research and it's all in one folder on Word, it's enough to make a writer take to drink.
I was interested in trying Dabble, but I write poetry as well as short stories and prose poems - so I probably won't try it unless a poetry template or sufficiently flexible poetry formatting is included.
It just wouldn't be useful enough, and like others - I'm looking for a modern solution that would allow me to keep all my writing in one program.
I Wood look in this
I really would love different templates for plays, poetry, and short stories.
I'm ready to start wriing my memoir!!! This is exactly what I was looking for!!!
I'm a former Marvel & DC Comics creator. There's a huge popularity today in pop culture for Manga, Comics, and Webcomics. It would be great if your team added a Template for Graphic Novel. Other writing apps such as Final Draft, Scrivener, WriterDuet, and Celtx already have this feature available. In particular, Scrivener already incorporates it in both their Desktop and mobile app versions. Your software brings the best of web-browser accessibility like WriterDuet as well as the robust binder-style system of Scrivener. Eventually, I would like to transfer my workflow to your platform. At the moment, the lack of a Graphic Novel template keeps me grounded to Scrivener.

Seconding the alternate formats request. I dabble (hah) in a lot of different creative avenues outside of just novels, and it would be helpful if we could change the auto-formatting.
