Mentioned in the 'night focus' section, the ability to add a coloured background would massively help reduce eye-strain. -

BrendanThe colors should be the same as what you can use on most ebooks. White, dark, sepia, green. I tend to use google docs to write with most of the time because the sepia colored page is much easier on the eyes than any of the other colors.

AsashaMy eyes struggle to keep up with a bright white screen. I typically modify my programs to be a sepia or very light pink. Please add this

EmmaI prefer yellow legal pads when I write by hand. Being able to do this in Dabble would be amazing. It's a feature that Google Docs has that I enjoyed. (Being able to customize the theme would be amazing)

VinceI agree. When I used Word, I choose an off-write background. It's much less eye strain than the bright white in Dabble. In Scrivener, I also choose a different page color. Writing on a black page with white font is only good in total darkness. Thanks!

ShiralleeAs a writer prone to optical migraines I'd also like the option to set my background colour, specifically a mid- green option.
For many years I have written exclusively in black serif on a mid-green page, a combo suggested to me as optimal for reducing eyestrain.
After experiencing a significant decrease in the migraines, there is no going back to white pages or the harsh contrast of dark mode.
Please consider introducing some eye-friendly background colours!
