  I run Linux on some of my PCs and it would be nice to have the option for a native app and local storage, although the web version runs amazingly well.

  While I'm using Macintosh right now, I don't foresee continuing this way because I don't like the increasingly proprietary road that Apple is paving. For that reason I built a home-brew PC with parts ordered from NewEgg and run Ubuntu 16.04 LTS 64-bit edition. I see Linux as the future. I understand from our discussions that creating a Linux desktop app might be easy given that Dabble is based on the cross-platform Electron framework.

  Plus it would give you an edge considering not many writing software actually have a native app for Linux, not even Scrivener. Consider for Android and iOS as well. Native apps help sometimes. I prefer writing on native apps rather than browsers.

  I've moved from Mac to Linux and don't plan to go back to Mac or Windows anytime soon. The webapp version is nice, but I would really love to have a desktop version to use.

  I've just started looking into this program, however for those that have posted I use linux on several devices and if there's a web based app then you can use nativefier to download and run it within linux seamlessly. It's a very nice option for some things

  Linux version Please! I use a Chromebook exclusively for writing. My Chromebook has the ability to run Linux, it would be a dream to have a Linux version

  I would love this, particularly as I've got a new mini laptop coming so I can write anywhere, and it runs Linux. Being able to work offline in a desktop app would be hugely useful.

  I'd love this as I have a lightweight MNT pocket reform and running chrome on it for the dabble Linux sort-of-app is a pretty heavyweight solution that sapps battery.
