A scratch-pad type note function within the manuscript beside each chapter

I would love to be able to create a note from the Chapter Actions drop-down menu that would let me summarize the content of the chapter. It would be great if it could reside right beside the chapter heading so that it is still visible and accessible when the is chapter closed. I want a place to summarize what happens in a certain chapter--a summary of the scenes, a scratch pad for ideas, special notes about what's happening to certain characters, etc without having to click through the individual scenes or go back and forth between the plot grid. It would be great to have a note option beside any major divider that has smaller parts under it (ie: Parts and Chapters). Right now I'm having to do that on a separate document under Story Notes and its so disconnected.
