Outline mode
Plot grid not the same tool, as this English major uses thesis to drive three or more overarching sections (beginning, climax, denouement) with those well-defined sectors driving the bullet-points which should also be written in complete sentences... REALLY helps me stay on task!

KenThe current plotting grid is kind of clunky as implemented. It doesn't function the way it looks like it should. An actual outlining tool would make things work a lot better I think.
As it stands, I lost about ten minutes of work messing with the plotting stuff as is. Messing with the list of chapters messed with my plot grid. I was NOT expecting that. -

Sara Campbell MergedI love Google Doc's document outline feature when it comes to character pages or world bibles. It's so handy to have an interactive table of contents right there so I can both easily see what all is in there and skip around quickly from part to part. Not every section needs it's own separate page, and being able to see multiple sections on my screen at once makes it easy to skim over for a refresher.

NykkiOutlining templates would be helpful when starting the novel writing process. Not just the 3-Act Outline but even the Snowflake Outline for more detailed writing would really benefit not just aspiring writers but authors who are editing previously written projects or starting new projects

Kelly LangstonWhen working with a writing coach, they often request an outline of the story. I love the plotting feature, but there is no way to convert this to an outline that I can export and send to my coach. This is really important and often requested by editors, coaches, etc.
