"Copy to New" feature
It would be nice, for people who always like to start with a certain structure, to be able to "copy to new" a chapter, or even a whole project, which would just duplicate the whole thing into a new one.

ErynI would use this a ton! I love my character and plot templates. Right now, the lack of this is pretty much the only draw back to Dabble.

KaiThis would save SO MUCH TIME! One of the things I love most about Dabble is that you can drag and drop almost everything. It makes re-organizing super easy. I was hoping to be able to drag and drop scenes, chapters, or even whole books from one manuscript to another, but this would work as well.

HeatherRight now I'm having to copy and paste my story templates piece by piece into a new project. I'd love to be able to create a template project that I can copy for each new book.

KristinaThis would be super helpful with drafting, too. I do a new file for each draft, and I'm reaching the point where more of this story is staying the same than changing, so being able to copy an entire project instead of copy/paste chapter by chapter would be super helpful.

AliceI was just about to request this! I write a lot of books in series, same world, same/similar characters. It would be EXCELLENT if we could "Create template from existing project" and open a new project that drags over notes and character profiles (or even gives you a checkbox so you can decide each time what copies over) that would be INCREDIBLY helpful. That way I wouldn't have to go back to another project to look up something about a character because I can't remember a detail about them.

ChanteThis would be great. Especially if we could copy the whole project/ manuscript. I like to have a whole new file for revision / separate drafts and it's annoying to have to copy and past all the different scenes.

MikeIt would be amazing to have the ability to copy an existing project. As it is now, I have to sit and spend hours every time I start a new project arranging it to my spec. With copy project, I would do this once and save that project as my project template.

Guido F. ManzanoAdding a full duplicate feature of the project would be awesome, so we could work on revisions, without touching the original work.

IsabelleSame here. I'd like to experiment with changing the POV. Copying the project to a new one would allow me to do that without wasting any time.

Natasha MergedAdd an option to clone the scene so we don't have to copy and paste every time we want to make a new draft or experiment without losing our current copy.

Sasha Sather MergedYou can duplicate the book, but the title keeps messing up and making it confusing. It would be nice if there was an easy way to duplicate the book so that your characters don't have to be re-entered for every novel. Adds frustration.
