I would like to be able to add bullet points to my story notes.

...can't you already do this? Just space and - then you've got a bullet point, it automatically formats.

I want to be able to include them in the actual story text, too.

@ Lauren if you use * then start typing it automatically makes a bullet point!

The suggestions here that using asterisk or hyphen will make a bullet list do not work in the manuscript. They only work in the notes section unfortunately.
