D AAgreed!
1. Something like the way you can add a custom background to your workspace in Campfire Blaze or Trello -- upload a map for your book, or something thematic that subtly helps me get in the mood for the book (an ocean photo for a pirate story, a starfield for science fiction, etc.) and have it in the background behind the UI elements or in the focus mode.
2. Even just being able to choose from among a few different color themes -- not necessarily a ton of customization options, but things like muted blues, muted greens, muted yellows, etc., would let us give a flavor to the environment as we write. -

KJMAbsolutely - being able to customize at least one theme so you can get something like green-on-black or white-on-blue would be terrific. Some of us are more comfortable with those schemes. Depending on your monitor, neither Light nor Dark might be the best.

Alperen MergedLike holiday themes but we can choose or adjust manually the colors. Maybe, as said before, we may have background images. But now, the colors fits perfectly in to the starting screen.

EC AstonCompletely agree. The dark mode looks nice on the sidebars but I prefer the editor to be a lighter color with black text. The current light theme is too bright though and makes my eyestrain issues kick in faster. It's my main issue with using Dabble.
