Project Settings: Add a Straight Quotes/Smart (Curly) Quotes Toggle
When I'm typing in Dabble, it automatically uses smart/curly quotes. However, I prefer to use straight quotes and use them elsewhere, so when I paste in from elsewhere my documents become a mess of straight and curly/smart quotes.
Can we get a toggle to disable smart quotes under the project preferences?

Johannes RexxLet me throw my vote in with this suggestion. My sense is that ProWritingAid is doing the lifting behind the scenes so hopefully it can be passed a flag to "don't check quotations". That of course leaves a potential mess of straight and smart quotation marks. The real problem is that Dabble does not automatically fix the problem for the writer. So a corollary suggestion is another menu item to "straighten all quotation marks" or "make curly all quotation marks."

MatchesStill begging for this toggle—well over a year since I began. When I'm writing, smart/curly quotes are so visually distracting I return to a text editor, time and again, over Dabble.

WoldryI'll voice my support for this as well! There are still publishers who want smart/curly quotes turned off for submissions, and it's a nuisance to have to open my exported novel in a separate word processor to search-and-replace curly quotes. It's also really annoying when Dabble changes a leading apostrophe (such as in 'tis or 'rona) to a curly single quote.
