Move Sticky Notes to the space beyond the margin

There is a huge amount of white space on either side of the writable area, and I would like to be able to put my sticky notes there so they do not have to be covering the text.

The sticky note feature is great, but I agree. It doesn't help much when it covers so much of the writing. It would be better to have it outside of the writeable area. Also, automatically highlight the text the note was made for. Currently, I need to highlight my text as a separate action from creating a note to go with it.
