Turn off auto-focus

I want to turn off the auto-focus. Sometimes you want to see everything when you write.

It's actually really, really distracting, to the point where I can't really use this app because my focus is broken every few seconds when I notice the sidebars fading away. I just can't focus at all... :( When is this release planned? I might try coming back to try this app again when this 'focus' aspect is gone. Thanks!

Love this idea! When I'm pushing for a certain word count, I find myself motivated by seeing the word counter ticking up.

You can now turn auto-fade off in the new Preferences menu.

Can you update the new version to auto focus the way the old one used to??? I loved the fade, but the new cut to focus is really jarring.
