Elin SvedlundDoes plot points refer to the plot grid, or something else? Because I'd like to be able to color my normal writing and notes, like you can put it in bold and italics!

Michelle Fronheiser MergedBeing Able to change the color of the Plot Cards would be a huge benefit to assist in keeping Plots together by color, for those of us who are very visual. In addition, It would be nice to change the color of the font that is used with the Plot cards. For example, if something is critical; or if it is still something I need to write, I could change the color to Red, so it would stick out.

Felicia Denise MergedBeing able to highlight or change the color/icon of chapters/folders to note trouble or incomplete areas or last scene completed would be a huge help!

AeriaAdding colors to plot cards(?) and sync them to the scene titles (the ones under Chapters), and vice versa, would be great. You don't always write in order, and this will help me track the scenes I've already written/half written/still to write.

CedarI kind of think Aeria's suggestion should be a separate request - and I love it - It would be great if we could see on the plot grid and the folder dropdowns what the wordcount was for each scene/chapter/manuscript - so we'd know where we are, but also so we can pace the story better. I will add a separate suggestion for this I think...

AnnaI would love to be able to color code on the plot grid, mark for myself what I've written or if scenes need to be re-written or worked on and what-not

Cate MergedI use this feature in Scrivener — I give each scene icon a particular color indicating whose POV it's in. This lets me make sure the characters are getting equal treatment.

Tanya WillardYes my brain thinks in color. This would be a game changer :)

DouglasThis is my most immediate feature request. I use color coding to indicate progress of individual scenes, such as First Draft, Second Draft, Needs Work, etc.

Uriah Black Mergedit would also help to remind those of who use differnt POV, whos POV is telling that part of a story

SharonJust started with Dabble Writer yesterday, and this was the first thing I wanted but didn't find!

BobmanIf we could set the color of scenes and plot lines, I would use them for different purposes in each case.
For scenes, I would indicate the stage of completion.
For plot lines, I would indicate whether they were places, people, or events. -

Julia Scott MergedRed for not started, orange for in progress and green for complete.
It would be so helpful to look at my scenes at a glance and see which ones I have to work on and which ones are done. -

AshleyI would love colors since I color coordinate for each primary and secondary character in my work.

FrancescoHi! I have seen this feature has been first suggested in 2017. Is there any update on its release?
Thank you! -

Gillian ScholeyIt would make it much more satisfying if I could background shade scenes on the grid that are completed. Sense of achievement. also being able to highlight on the manuscript.

Laurin MergedI really, REALLY wish we could change the color of the plot point cards like you can on an Excel spreadsheet. Having the power to change the color of the rows/columns on the plot grid itself would also be a nice feature. For those of us who function visually, this is a drawback of Dabble.

Eric SolomontColored plot cards would be great to be able to note and see intersections in plot lines. Though, given the age of this thread, it doesn't look like anyone is listening.

Melly J.I just wanted to add my vote for the colored plot cards. I, like a few others, looked for this feature when I got the program. I do hope we get this soon.

AdrianaColoured plot points and plot lines would be great!
Also allow to have little coloured circles in the corner of a plot point/scene (so that we can tag a scene for location, characters, etc. and maybe even view only those tagged by a location/character etc).
Also allow to see a manuscript grid view as a mindmap or a storyboard.
A storyboard view would be awesome! A manuscript and a general storyboard, of course. -

DarcyThis would be such a great feature! I think if we could also get this same color-coding/labeling system for chapters and scenes as well, that would be incredibly useful.
