Scenes independent of chapters during writing, gathered into chapters at the end
I have tried several writing/planning tools and the great majority (including Dabble) consider scenes as "children" of chapters - to create a scene you need a chapter to put it in, implying that you need to create your chapter structure first. That's not how I write at all! Chapter structure is one of the *last* things I do, after I have done the writing and major editing of the scenes of my story. Only then do I look at the scenes and group them into chapters for convenience.
I find it interesting that Dabble seems to work this way in the plot grid, but the only way you can get there is to have already assigned scenes to chapters, which seems a bit crazy.
Please can Dabble support scenes as first-class citizens, with chapter assignment done at the end.

RebekahThis functionality would also be really great for projects that don't have chapters.

BenI would so love this! The chapter blocks get in the way and cause distraction when I'm trying to concentrate on constructing the story itself. Chapter blocks do just that--they block the flow. Please give us the ability to just use scenes. We can arrange them in chapters later when needed.
