Sidebar options/ split-screen

Whatever text or folder that is opened in the sidebar will stay in the sidebar but be expanded. Like Scrivener's split screen. For example, if you have world-building notes, or character notations, etc, they can be opened in the sidebar, visible as you write. Maybe this option can be toggled on or off in preferences? (If you want to keep the current layout visible, for instance, it would be toggled off.)
Another option is to have split screen availability. That would allow two documents of the author's choice to be visible/ used, and corrected as needed.
